What a match Part II

Well, the Arsenal boys did us proud this day. They had Chelsea outgunned for the most part. But for the offside goal by Drogba we would have been looking at extra time or even a shootout and who knows? Chelsea are known grinders though and the Gunners defense had looked a bit shaky.

Champions League: Arsenal lose to PSV 1-0

In what’s a surprise for Arsenal fans, Arsenal’ve gone and lost to PSV 1-0. It almost reads like the Blackburn story, except that this time PSV managed to get one in. Lehmann’s attempt at save was rather lazy; he seemed to favour his left side, and the resulting chink in his armour was enough.

EPL: Arsenal held by Blackburn 0-0 in the FA Cup 5th Round

Arsenal were held yesterday to a 0-0 draw by an overly turtling Blackburn. I saw the match from the 30th minute onwards, but what was clear was an overly defensive Blackburn which put men behind the ball for the entire first half.
